Plans decide how much you can put through at once. Credits decide what a run costs. A free account can reach every skill it can afford — it cannot run them at agency volume.

When credits are charged

Credits come off before the provider is called. They are refunded if that run fails. On a line of steps, each skill is charged as it starts. A finished step is not charged again if you retry the rest of the line. The response from the API includes credits_charged.
Cyclops has no monthly credits. An AI skill on Cyclops needs a top-up first. Free tools spend the daily allowance instead of credits.

Top-ups

Buy 250 to 50,000 credits from the plan page. Top-up credits never expire. They are priced above the subscription rate on purpose: The smallest top-up is the price of trying an AI skill without upgrading.

Extra Vault storage

Paid plans can add storage in 100 GB blocks at $3 each. Cyclops files still expire after 30 days; extra storage does not change that.

What a guest can do

  • Convert, resize, and crop images in the browser
  • Send up to 3 files at a time, up to 100 MB each
  • Email a result — that creates an account, puts the files in the Vault, and mints a delivery. The address has to be verified.
Video and audio convert or resize, AI skills, saved recipes, galleries you keep, and API keys all need an account.
